Africa is like music that beats in the wind. Once you’ve been there, you can feel her rhythm in your blood.

It is a continent like no other, with breathtaking nature scenes, haunting sounds, and dazzling colors. History is truly alive here, and ancient wisdom lives on in artifacts, jewelry, and stories. Close your eyes, and you can see the proud warriors and hear the women singing by the river.

This is our heritage. This is TruFacebyGrace.

We are an online store with exclusive luxury clothing and accessories for women inspired by Africa's indigenous cultures. In the United States, we are based in the greater Washington area.

Grace Yeboah Ofori

Grace Yeboah Ofori moved from Ghana in West Africa as a teenager, first to Canada and then to the US in 2014. Grace is passionate about preserving the cultural heritage of Africa.

‘TrufacebyGrace’ is a for-profit social enterprise aiming to bring authentic African designs to the United States.

African traditional wear and jewelry are inspired by each culture's customs and integral social structure. Artisanal skills and traditional craftmanship differ from country to country and even between different regions within a country. It is a rich tapestry of timeless African culture where individual threads and patches are often just as important as the greater picture.

The designs you'll find here are truly African-inspired. We like to describe our pieces as ‘haute chic’ but totally unique! Here you'll find ways to celebrate your individuality with cutting-edge (but fun!) designs.

We give you a range of ethnic African pieces from across Africa in a unique fusion of the traditional and the contemporary. We are the modern twist to ethic jewelry, accessories, but also clothing.

Do you want to turn heads? You’ve come to the right place. Our fashion statement pieces have been described as ‘red carpet ready, ‘bohemian punk,’ and ‘show-stopping.’

We are proud that our collections represent Africa, but also global trends.

‘TrufacebyGrace’ educates female artisans skilled in their traditional, local craft and collaborates with them so that they can have access to a bigger, global marketplace.

We give them opportunities so that they can provide for their families. Our designs are handcrafted, using locally sourced (and often recycled) materials. Our partners and we believe in doing our part to save the environment.

We give you:

• Exotic, handcrafted products in a wide selection.
• The opportunity to be part of creating prospects for fabulous artisans in a third-world setting.
• Sustainable products that impact lives and community development across Ghana, but also other African countries.

By supporting 'TrufacebyGrace,' you can do your part to create jobs with dignity and help women and girls with long-term financial freedom and independence.
